Earthquake tremors were felt again in Gujarat on Monday. Its intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 4.4. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt at 12.57 am.
The tremors of the quake were felt at 8.13 pm on Sunday night. Its intensity on the Richter scale was 5.5. The Gujarat government has stated its intensity as 5.3. Its epicentre was in Vondh village of Kutch. It is a matter of relief that no major losses have been reported in the state so far.
The highest impact was also seen in Kutch. 19 years ago i.e. on 26 January 2001, there was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Bhuj of Kutch. More than 13 thousand people died in it.
