An AirAsia flight going from Kolkata to Mumbai forced to return midway and was forced to make an emergency landing in Kolkata. 25-year-old Mohini Mandal, boarding AirAsia flight number I5316, allegedly gave a note to one of the cabin crew. He said that the note should send to the flight captain. Officials said that the note had written that her body bomb and that she would detonate at any moment. After reading this, the pilot’s arms and legs swelled up and he decided to return to Kolkata.

Authorities said that Mohini has arrested. The flight took off at 9:57 pm on Saturday night. An hour later, the flight side informed the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) that the plane was returning to Kolkata due to threats to bomb the flight. AirAsia Emergency Landing.

ATC declared a complete emergency at 11 pm. After the plane land at Kolkata Airport, it took to isolation bay at 11:46 am. Officials said that they followed all protocols to deal with such threats. Simultaneously Mohini takes into custody by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Officials said that a thorough search of the aircraft carried out and later the aviation regulator DGCA approve the aircraft to take off.

However, Mohini’s claim turned out to nothing more than a rumor. However, it is not yet clear why Mohini did this. After all, why did he force the plane to return to Kolkata?
