All-New 2022 KTM RC 200 Motorcycle Launched in India


KTM RC 200 Motorcycle: In less than a month and a half, KTM introduced the new generation RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390 bikes for the global market, and now the new RC 125 and RC 200 have been launched along with the RC 390 in India. They are coming in a few months. According to the brand, several changes have been made to the design and hardware of the 2022 KTM RC series.

2022 KTM RC 200 Motorcycle Launched in India

The 2022 KTM RC 200 is priced at Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and gets an all-new chassis, improved ergonomics, updated electronics and GP-inspired styling. The special features include new adjustable handlebars, LCD dash instrument cluster, fuel tank capacity increased from 9.5 litres to 13.7 litres, a new LED headlamp and a bigger airbox. The split steel trellis frame is lighter and more rigid, and the new motorcycle also gets Supermoto ABS.

The wheels are also more powerful and lighter than before, while the anchor is controlled by a new 320 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc brake. As for the design, the new fairing is said to be customized for better aerodynamics.


These features of 2022 KTM RC 200 are also unique.

Other highlights of the motorcycle are a curved radiator, stronger front axle, windscreen with updated laser design, integrated front position lamps with front blinkers and an aluminium cast and split pillion grab. The India-spec 2022 KTM RC 200 gets all the features from the international variant and an all-new complete LED headlamp system. The new generation KTM RC 200 gets a WP Apex large piston front fork and a new WP Apex shock absorber at the rear.

For performance, the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled four-stroke fuel-injected engine is used with twin overhead camshafts. The larger airbox is claimed to enable smoother engine operation, offer better responsiveness and increased torque.

Bookings for the 2022 KTM RC 200 and KTM RC 125 have started at the official KTM dealerships, and production will start before reaching the showrooms soon. The down payment for the motorcycles is only Rs 25,000. Customers can take advantage of special finance schemes.
