Given the increasing demand for electric vehicles in the Indian market, automakers are constantly introducing new models of electric cars. Customers are looking at electricity as a new option due to the rising prices of petrol and diesel. Given this interest of customers, now Germany’s luxury car company Audi has launched its electric sedan car Audi e-Tron in two variants GT and RS (Audi e-Tron GT and Audi RS e-Tron GT) in the Indian market.

Let us tell you that earlier the company has launched the e-Tron and e-Tron Sportback car in the Indian market in July. However, the company has made a late entry in the electric vehicle segment in the Indian market. But, gradually, by increasing its portfolio of electric cars, the company is trying to make up for this.

To remind you, the Audi e-Tron GT and Audi RS e-Tron GT made their global debut in February this year. And their booking was started earlier this month. The Volkswagen Group owns Audi.

If we talk about the price, the cost of Audi e-Tron GT and Audi RS e-Tron GT is Rs 1.79 crore and Rs 2.04 crore, respectively. At the same time, the company had opened the booking of both these models earlier this month.

Features of Audi e-Tron GT and Audi RS e-Tron GT

The company has given two electric motors in the Audi e-Tron GT. This motor generates power of 469 BHP and torque of 630 Nm. At the same time, the RS variant causes a capacity of 590 BHP and torque of 830 Nm. The company claims that this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 4.1 seconds.

Apart from this, in the GT variant, the company has given a battery pack of 85 kWh capacity, which offers a driving range of up to 488 km on a single charge. Its top speed is 245 km/h. On the other hand, the RS variant gives a driving range of up to 472 km on a single charge. Apart from this, this car accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 3.3 seconds, and its top speed is 250 kilometres per hour.
