Honda CRF190L: Japanese manufacturer Honda is working on a wide range of new motorcycles and an all-new electric scooter for the Indian market. The company recently registered the CRF 190L adventure motorcycle design in India. This motorcycle is currently sold in China through Honda Sundiro. Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) recently filed a design patent for its electric vehicle in India.
Simultaneously, the two-wheeler division of the Japanese auto giant has also registered design patents for a few models in India, including the NT1100 and CBR 150R. It is believed that Honda’s upcoming motorcycle Honda CRF190L Hero will compete with the XPulse 200 adventure bike, which is quite a hit.
The Honda CRF190L adventure motorcycle is unlikely to be launched in India. However, it can be a perfect motorcycle for our market. Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) President Atsushi Ogata revealed in a recent interview that their brand would introduce its first electric vehicle for the domestic market in the next financial year.
Design of Honda CRF190L
In terms of design, the CRF190L comes with a rectangular-shaped headlamp, circular-shaped rearview mirror, single-piece seat setup, side-mounted exhaust system, sturdy grab rail, tall windscreen, luggage rack, unique body graphics.
Specifications of Honda CRF190L
The seat height of the Honda CRF 190L is 830 mm. It has a ground clearance of 240 mm and weighs 145 kg. The CRF190L can be launched in India soon. Talking about the powertrain details of the Honda CRF190L, it produces 17.3 PS of power and 16.1 Nm of peak torque.
In China, the motor produces only 15.70 PS at 8,500 rpm and 15.75 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It comes with a five-speed transmission. Features include 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped with dual-purpose tyres, disc brakes at both ends, telescopic front forks, mono-shock rear suspension.
