It will compete in the EV segment.
Hero entering the electric scooter segment in India will not have an easy road ahead as it already has brands like Olo Electric, Simple One, Okinawa and Komaki, which offer multiple electric scooter options, where Ola has two electric scooters present in India, which are Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. On the other hand, there are electric scooters like Simple and Ather. The Simple One helps in offering a better driving range here, while the Ather gets modern features like reverse gear. These scooters can be booked through online platforms.
