Royal Enfield has increased the price of this bike by about 6,000 rupees. Thus, the Classic 350 range’s starting price is now Rs 1.72 lakh, while the top variant goes up to Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom prices, Mumbai). Since the beginning of the year 2021, this bike’s cost has increased for the third time.
Royal Enfield is planning to launch a new generation of the Classic 350 in the Indian market very soon. In this way, with the new generation, bike prices are expected to rise once again. The new Classic 350 has been spotted in India many times during road tests. And can be expected to launch in the coming months.
New Model
The new model will be developed on the new ‘J’ platform, just like the new Meteor 350 launched last year by the brand. Being set on the new platform, the new Classic will be lighter than its outgoing model. But it will become even stronger. The company will also offer the Meteor 350 with the new Classic 350 and the tripper navigation feature introduced with the Himalayan, while it will have disc brakes on both wheels, which will feature dual-channel ABS. The photos also indicate the changes being made to the bike, and its split seats will be brand new. At the same time, the rider’s seat will no longer be spring-loaded.
The taillamps will also get a facelift, while the motorcycle will feature new switchgear. Apart from this, we can also expect many improvements in the level of fit and finish. The bike will feature the SOHC set up in the new motor instead of the old pushrod architecture, which will improve performance and reduce vibration.
The new Generation Classic 350 will get a 349 cc air / oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine introduced with the Meteor 350, which produces 20.4 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
