TVS Raider 125 Motorcycle Launched in India, Price and Features


TVS Raider 125 Launched in India: TVS Motor Company has returned to the 125 cc segment and launched the Raider 125 Sports Commuter. Prices of the new TVs Raider 125 start at Rs.77,500 (ex-showroom). The new sports commuter promises to be a fun little option for young buyers.

TVS says that around 39 per cent of its customers are young buyers across sectors, not just in India but also globally. The new Raider is built on a new global platform and sold in India, SAARC countries and even Latin American markets.

TVS Raider 125 Motorcycle Launched in India

The TVS Raider 125 has a mix of sporty and commuter in its looks. The design highlight is the new LED headlamp with DRLs that stand out. The model also gets a muscular looking fuel tank on the side and an engine guard. Divided seats promise comfort, while a chunky single-piece grab is provided at the rear. The bike gets nicely styled LED taillights and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Raider 125 gets three colour options – Yellow, Red and Black.


These unique features are available in TVS Raider 125

TVS Raider 125 comes with a fully digital console that houses a host of information, including three trip meters, distance to empty indicator, integrated starter generator indicator, gear-shift indicator and average speed recorder. Apart from other tell-tale lights, the bike also gets a side-stand cut-off switch as a safety feature.

The motorcycle engine is vital.

In terms of power, the TVS Raider uses a 124.8 cc single-cylinder, 3-valve engine that generates 11.2 bhp at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike also comes with two riding modes – Eco and Power – the latter offering around 10 per cent more power at the top-end of the power band.

The bike comes with combi braking.

The bike gets telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear, while braking performance comes from the disc and drum brake setup. The base variant only gets drum brakes at either end. The bike comes with combi braking as standard. TVS Raider 125 hosts 125 cc offerings, including Honda CB Shine, Shine SP 125, Hero Glamor, Bajaj Pulsar 125, NS125 and the likes.
