Industrialist Gautam Adani has turned 60 today. Gautam Adani celebrates his birthday with utmost simplicity. However, he stays away from glamour even in ordinary life. But he has no break on the business front. In the last two decades, he has hoisted the flag of his business in the country and worldwide.

Gautam Adani always tries to stay away from politics. He says, ‘I don’t like politics. I am not inclined towards any political party. I have friends in all political parties. But I never talk politics with him. We only discuss development-related issues.

In an interview with India Today, Adani said, ‘Dealing with the government does not mean you are giving bribes. My experience working with officers and politicians shows that if you are from a dedicated business group, then they help you. After all, they also want the development of their parliamentary constituency, state or country.


However, Gautam Adani clearly says ‘I do not like leaders who do not have any vision and want to make money. I like leaders who have a picture.

Gautam Adani has come out of any adversity. Gautam Adani was kidnapped in the nineties. It is said that he was kidnapped for ransom. Therefore, now their security system remains robust. In the year 1997, an incident of his kidnapping shocked everyone.

The operatives of the local mafia kidnapped one. Later he was released. Little information was revealed about this release and why the kidnapping was done.


Similarly, during the terrorist attack of 26 November 2008, he was in the Taj Hotel and was a survivor. He was one of the last people to get out of there. He had gone for dinner at Taj Hotel.

Gautam Adani is not very bothered by the ups and downs of life. He says, ‘I have seen money coming and going. One should not be pleased when money comes or be sad when money is gone. I believe that no one should worry about what is not in their hands. Destiny will decide by itself.
