GST Collection in September 2021: The government’s tax income has increased in September (GST collection) compared to August. IN SEPTEMBER, the GST collection has increased from Rs 1.12 lakh crore to Rs 1.17 lakh crore in comparison to August.
The Government of India said that the GST collection has increased by 23 per cent to Rs 1,17,010 lakh crore compared to the last year, i.e. September 2020. Experts say that the continuous increase in GAT collection is a good sign for the government and the country’s economy.

A Look at the GST Collection Figures
The GST collection in August 2021 stood at Rs 1,12,020 crore. Whereas, in August 2020, it was Rs 86,449 crore.
1.16 lakh crore in July 2021. The GST collection in July-2020 was Rs 87,422 crore.
In June-2021, the GST collection was less than Rs 1 lakh crore, i.e. Rs 92,849 crore.
Growth of 12% in Uttar Pradesh compared to last year.
According to the data released by the Finance Ministry, the GST revenue in Jammu and Kashmir in September 2021 has been Rs 377 crore, as against Rs 368 crore in the same period last year. In this way, a growth of 3 per cent has been seen in it. In Himachal Pradesh, the GST collection in September was Rs 680 crore. This figure was Rs 653 crore in September last year.
In this way, there has been a growth of 4 per cent. At the same time, GST revenue in Punjab stood at Rs 1,402 crore last month. In this state, in the same month as last year, it was at 1,194 crores, that is, a growth of 17 per cent. The GST collection in Delhi has been Rs 3,605 crore.
It was 3,146 crore in September last year, that is, an increase of 18 per cent. At the same time, the GST revenue in Uttar Pradesh last month was Rs 5,692 crore. It was Rs 5,075 crore in the same period the previous year. There has been a growth of 12 per cent in this.
At the same time, the GST collection in Bihar last month was Rs 876 crore. It was Rs 996 crore in the same period the previous year. In West Bengal, the GST collection in September stood at Rs 3,778 crore. In September last year, it was Rs 3,393 crore.
