The Gulf country Kuwait has given a big order of cow dung to India after wheat, amid the Prophet Mohammad controversy. Scientists in Kuwait used cow dung in date palm cultivation and found that it increased the yield. After this, Kuwait decided to import cow dung from India. The largest consignment of foreign orders India has received so far for cow dung is being sent from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
Kuwait has also demanded wheat before cow dung.
Former Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister and MP Radha Mohan Singh arrived on Tuesday to participate in a program at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA) in Kanpur. He claimed that the agricultural scientists of Kuwait had found cow dung very beneficial in date palm cultivation. After this, Kuwait has decided to import cow dung from India. Earlier, Kuwait had requested India to send wheat amid the Global Food Crisis.
Export prospects of cow dung increased.
Radha Mohan Singh said that cow dung’s export possibilities have increased after the order from Kuwait. India is the largest producer of cow dung. Now the government is also preparing a strategy to focus on the export of cow dung. For the orders received now, cow dung is being sent from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. In the coming time, there is a plan to include all the states in the export of cow dung.
For the first time, such order of cow dung was found.
He said that the first consignment of cow dung was being sent to Kuwait on June 15. It is being sent from Kanakapura railway station in Rajasthan to Mumbai. From there, the dung will be taken to Kuwait by ship. This consignment has been packed under the supervision of the Customs Department at Sunrise Organic Park at Shri Pinjrapol Gaushala, Tonk Road, Jaipur. In this first consignment, 192 metric tonnes of cow dung are being supplied to Kuwait. India has received a massive order for cow dung from any country for the first time.
Production of dates increased by the use of cow dung
Agricultural scientists in Kuwait found in a research that the date crop is growing using cow dung as powder. Due to its use, the fruit’s size and production quantity increased significantly. After this, Kuwait’s company Lamor placed a large order of cow dung to India.
Let us tell you that there are about 30 crore cattle in India. About 30 lakh tonnes of cow dung is produced from them every day. India’s primary cow dung is made upla and used as fuel. However, electricity and dung gas are produced from cow dung in many countries, including Britain and China.
