LPG Price Today August 1 2022: Giving great relief to consumers, oil marketing companies on Monday, i.e. August 1 2022, announced a reduction in the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders. OMCs have slashed the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders by Rs 36. The new prices will be applicable from today itself. With this latest reduction, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,976 instead of Rs 2012.50.
Know the new price
After the reduction in the price of LPG cylinders, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1976 from Rs 2012.50 today. At the same time, it was available in Kolkata for Rs 2132.00, but from August 1, it is being known for Rs 2095.50. The price of a commercial cylinder has come down to Rs 1936.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2141 in Chennai from today.
No relief to domestic consumers
Consumers using LPG will not get any benefit from this deduction. Let us tell you that on July 6 last month, the price of domestic LPG was increased by Rs 50 per cylinder. This was the third increase in LPG prices from May to July, with energy prices hitting an all-time high. The cost of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder without subsidy in the capital Delhi is still available at Rs 1,053. In most cities of the country, subsidy on gas cylinders is no longer being given by the government.
