Meta Spent 204 Crores To Protect Mark Zuckerberg, More Than Jeff Bezos


Meta spent a total of $27.8 million or more than Rs 204 crore last year on the security of its CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his family. According to a Bloomberg report, Meta spends around Rs 55 lakh a day to keep Mark Zuckerberg and his family safe. In the report, it has been said that in a recent regulatory filing, it has come to know about this amount spent on the security of Mark Zuckerberg.

Let us inform you that Mark Zuckerberg’s company has been making all arrangements for his security since 2013. In 2013, about Rs 25 crores were spent on the protection of Zuckerberg, which has increased more than eight times last year to Rs 204 crore.

Rs 116 crore was spent on Zuckerberg’s security.

The report said that the company spent Rs 116 crore last year to protect Zuckerberg during his stay at home and personal travel. Apart from this, Rs 76 crore was paid for the security of Zuckerberg’s family, and the cost of the private plane used for the trip was Rs 12.2 crore. Which in total is more than Rs 204 crore. In 2021, Rs 204 crore was spent on Mark Zuckerberg and his family, 6 per cent more than the amount paid in the year 2020.


The money spent on Jeff Besoz’s security is much less than Zuckerberg’s

You will be surprised to know that a total of Rs 12.2 crore was spent on protecting the world’s second-richest man Jeff Bezos last year, which is 17 times less than the money spent on the safety of Mark Zuckerberg. Previous year Rs 33 crore was paid for the protection of Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Apart from these, the company had spent only Rs 4.8 crore for the security of Apple CEO Tim Cook. However, the information about how much money is being spent on the safety of the world’s richest man Elon Musk has not been found.
