The company said that the founder-promoters and journalists of NDTV, Radhika and Prannoy Roy, are neither currently in nor are in talks with any entity regarding the change in ownership or sale of a stake in NDTV. Both personally and in his company RRPR Holdings Pvt. holding 61.45 per cent of the total paid-up share capital in NDTV.
NDTV said that it has no information as to why there was a sudden jump in the stock. It said NDTV cannot curb baseless rumours and does not indulge in such unfounded speculations.

NDTV shares have jumped 20 per cent in two days. The company’s investors have benefited a lot from the stock, and their wealth has increased by about Rs 100 crore. Investors have made a profit of Rs 98 crore in two days. The market cap of the company became Rs 564.77 crore.
