According to Eastern Railway sources, the PRS Data Center Kolkata system will be closed from 00.30 pm this Saturday and Sunday till 03.30 pm the next day. On 17th July 2022, the system will likely remain closed for the day. During this, pending works related to maintenance and up-gradation will be done there.

With the help of the railway’s PRS data centre in Kolkata, work is done in the six zonal railways of the Indian Railways. These include Eastern Railway, South Eastern Railway, East Coast Railway, South East Central Railway, North East Frontier Railway and East Central Railway. There is also a division of the East Central Railway in Mughalsarai of UP. Train tickets will not be deducted on that day in some areas of UP and the whole of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Odisha, and all the states of the Northeast.
