Anushka Sharma said in her statement, “When I started Clean Slate Filmz with my brother Karnesh Sharma, we were novices at the time of production, but our stomachs caught fire, and we wanted to create entertainment in India through disordered content. I wanted to set the agenda. Today, as I look back on my journey, we take great pride in what we have built and managed to achieve.”
The actress further wrote, “I have to credit Karnesh, who has excelled in shaping the CSF today. As a new mom who has chosen to be an actor by profession, I have to balance my life differently. So, I have decided to dedicate whatever time I have to my first love, acting! Therefore, I have decided to withdraw from CSF, believing that the most capable person, Karnesh, is carrying forward the vision with which it was created at No.1.”
Significantly, Clean Slate Filmz’s following projects include a drama series titled Jhulan Goswami biopic Chakda Express (starring Anushka herself) and a film titled Kaala, which will mark the debut of late actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan.
