During the hearing, NCB said that they had got shocking photos from Aryan’s mobile. Much incredible information has also come out from the image. Due to this, the NCB has called Aryan’s custody necessary to investigate the drugs racket. NCB said that the cruise party has links with the international drugs racket. With this, it was told that code words were being used to take drugs. Seeing this, the public prosecutor had demanded the custody of all the accused till October 11. However, the court has given remand to NCB only for October 7.
At the same time, during the hearing, Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde defended Khan and said that no banned material was found from Aryan during the search. He was invited as a guest. He didn’t even have a boarding pass. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RA Narlikar heard the matter. During this, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede was also present in the court.
Aryan was accused of consuming only drugs.
Earlier, the NCB team had taken all the accused to JJ Hospital, where their RT-PCR test was done. The NCB on Sunday claimed that it has evidence to show links between the three accused arrested, including Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, and drug smugglers in a drug case seized from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. However, NCB’s counsel has told the court that Aryan is only accused of consuming drugs.
Case registered under these sections
A case has been registered against Aryan Khan under Section-27 (consumption of narcotic substance), 8C (Production, possession, purchase or sale of narcotic substances) and other relevant sections of the NDPS Act. According to the memo prepared after the arrest by the NCB, 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD, 21 grams of charas and 22 intoxicating pills have been recovered after the raid. Along with this, cash worth 1.33 lakh has been seized.
