Chandrakant Pandya Death: After Ravana, i.e. Arvind Trivedi of Ramanand Sagar’s mythological show ‘Ramayan’, another famous character of this show has passed away. Chandrakant Pandya, who played the role of Nishad Raj in the show, breathed his last today, i.e. on Thursday. Chandrakant Pandya was 78 years old and was suffering from many diseases. The reason for his death is being told to his ailments.
Chandrakant Pandya Passes Away
The death of Chandrakant has been confirmed by Deepika Chikhalia, who played Sita in Ramayana. Deepika Chikhaliya expressed grief over the demise of Chandrakant Pandya in a post on her Instagram story. Sharing a picture of Chandrakant, Deepika wrote in the caption – May your soul rest in peace, Chandrakant Pandya, the traces of Ramayana. Arun Govil also condoled the death of Chandrakant.

Chandrakant was a resident of Gujarat. He was born on January 1, 1946, in Banaskantha of the state. Here he lived in Bhildi village. The family of Chandrakant, who belonged to the businessman, had settled in Mumbai from Gujarat a long time ago. Chandrakant’s education and writing have been done in Mumbai itself. After this, he started his acting career with minor roles. He also acted in plays. He used to do theatre together with Ravana, i.e. Arvind Trivedi.
However, Chandrakant got his real identity only from Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana. His character Nishad Raj was well-liked in the show. This character was very close to Shri Ram. Apart from Ramayana, he worked in shows like Mahabharata, Vikram Betaal, Hote Hote Pyar Ho Gaya, Patli Parmar.
He worked in many serials as well as in many films. His first film was Gujarati, titled Kadu Makrani. He got a lot of recognition from this film, and he became a superstar of the Gujarati film industry. He worked in about 100 TV shows and films. Let us tell you one more thing that Chandrakant was a special friend of Bollywood veteran actor Amjad Khan. Both were friends from college days. Both used to study in the same college.
