Chehre Release Postponed Due to Corona Situation

Chehre Release Postponed: Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi’s film Facial has been postponed given the growing cases of COVID-19. The film was scheduled to hit theatres on April 9. This is the fourth film in the last few days, which has been announced to be released. Earlier releases of Rana Daggubati’s Elephant Mere Samatha, Ram Gopal Varma’s D-Company and Saif Ali Khan-Rani Mukherjee’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 have been postponed.

Chehre Release Postponed

On Tuesday, it was informed by face producer Anand Pandit that the film would no longer be released on 9 April due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. Rumi Jaffrey directs the face. It is a mystery-thriller film, in which many of the best actors will appear in the lead roles along with Amitabh and Imran. The trailer of the film received a good response on social media.

The statement issued by the producers stated that given the increasing corona cases, new guidelines had been given to theatres. Due to this, we are postponing the release of our film face till the following notice. Our trailer received tremendous response, for which we are thankful. We will bring the look to theatres when the atmosphere is right to enjoy this film.

Four movies left in April

The industry was gearing up for a fresh start as the coronavirus vaccination campaign began and Covid-19 cases declined. Announcements for the release of those films, which were halted in 2020, started in 2021. And the calendar of the year 2021 started filling up. The release date of 6 movies was announced in April itself.

Koi Jaane Na on April 2, Faces on April 9, 99 Songs on April 16, Bunty and Babli 2 on April 23 and Thalaivi and Suryavanshi on April 30. Of this, the release of Faces and Bunty and Bubble 2 has been postponed. That is, there are currently four films left in April.
