Ek Villain Returns CBFC: Ek Villain Returns is releasing in theaters this month on 29th July 2022. People have high hopes from this film of Mohit Suri. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. Along with the tremendous suspense in the trailer of the film, many hot scenes between Disha and John were also seen in the trailer.
After which everyone expected that the suspense and hot scenes would drag people to theatres. However, now these expectations of the audience can be dashed, because before giving the certificate to Mohit Suri’s film, the censor board used scissors in many scenes of the film.
Censor’s scissors went on these scenes including Disha Patani’s hot scenes.
After watching the trailer, everyone expected that the film would be passed with an ‘A’ certificate because the film has a lot of hot and bold scenes. But the censor board sighed relief to the makers and passed the film a U/A certificate. However, to save his film from damage, Mohit Suri had to remove many scenes from the film in compliance with the orders of the Central Board of Film Certification.
The CBFC asked the makers to either beep or removed the abusive words from the film, not just the scenes. The Examining Committee of CBFC asked to remove or reduce those scenes of Disha Patani, in which she is giving a hot scene with John Abraham sitting on a meat-eating saw machine in a butcher’s eatery one of the scenes of this scene. Censor Board’s scissors also went on the abusive words of ‘Ek Villain Returns.’
The Censor Board reduced the length of nine seconds of this scene of Disha Patani. Apart from this, abusive words and abusive words in the film have also been removed by the censor board. Apart from this, Mohit Suri was also asked to remove those scenes from the movie in which the butchers are shown cutting body parts in the machine. After the complete cut, the film was given a U/A certificate; with this, the film’s length was cut to 2 hours and 8 minutes.
