Malayalam Actress Ambika Rao: Malayalam actress Ambika Rao has passed away. Ambika Rao breathed her last on 27 June, i.e. Monday. The reason for his death is said to be a heart attack. According to online media reports, Ambika Rao suffered a heart attack on Monday, after which she was taken to a private hospital in Ernakulam. Ambika Rao died here around 10.30 pm. It is being told that Ambika Rao was suffering from COVID-19 and was undergoing treatment. Let us tell you that Ambika Rao is known for her superb performance in the film ‘Kumbalangi Nights’.
Ambika Rao has left behind two sons, Rahul and Sohan. There is a wave of mourning in the South film industry due to the death of the Malayalam actress. Superstar Prithviraj has also expressed grief over the death of Ambika Rao. Prithviraj wrote- May your soul rest in peace Ambika. Apart from Prithviraj, the Malayalam film industry technicians have also paid tribute to Ambika Rao by condoling her death.

Ambika Rao made her debut in the film industry as an assistant director in 2002 with the film Krishna Gopalakrishna. Balachandra Menon directed the film. Ambika Rao worked as an associate director and actress in the South Film Industry for nearly two decades.
She worked as an assistant director in films with big stars like Mammootty starrer Rajamanikyam and Thammanam McCullum, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Vellinakshathram. As an associate director, Ambika Rao acted in several films, including Misha Madhavan, Salt and Pepper, Kumbalangi Nights and the recently released Anurag Karikin Vellam, Tamasha and Vellum.
Ambika Rao gained more popularity as an actress in Madhu C Narayan’s film Kumbalangi Nights, which was released in 2019. Everyone appreciated his performance in this film. Ambika Rao played the role of Baby and Simmi’s mother in this film.
