Munmun Dhamecha Release: Model Munmun Dhamecha has been released from jail in the cruise drugs case. Fashion model Munmun Dhamecha was released from the Byculla Women’s Jail on Sunday, three days after being granted bail in the cruise drugs case. The NCB arrested Dhamecha on October 3. On Thursday, the Bombay High Court granted him bail along with co-accused Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Munmun Dhamecha Release From Arthur Road Jail
On Friday afternoon, the court had made available the primary copies of its order. In this order, the court had imposed 14 conditions for the bail of Aryan Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha.
The High Court, in its order, had said that Aryan Khan and two co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha would be released on furnishing a personal bond of Rs one lakh each and one or two sureties of the same amount. After completing the bond process, Dhamecha’s release was ordered in the bail box outside Byculla jail late on Saturday evening.
Request for permission to visit Madhya Pradesh
Model Munmun Dhamecha’s lawyer Ali Kashif Khan said on Sunday that he had been released from jail after completing all legal formalities. Now we are applying NCB requesting to allow her to go to Madhya Pradesh, as she is originally from there. The co-accused Arbaaz Merchant has not been released yet.
He is currently lodged in Arthur Road Jail. Aryan Khan, who was lodged in Arthur Road Jail after his arrest, returned home on Saturday. Aryan Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha will have to submit their passports in the special NDPS court as per the conditions fixed by the High Court, and they will not leave India without taking permission from the special court. They will have to visit the NCB office every Friday from 11 am to 2 pm to register their presence.
