Munmun Dutta, who plays Babita Ji in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is once again in the news. Recently there were reports that Munmun is leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The cast and crew have been shifted to Daman due to the shooting ban in Maharashtra due to the Coronavirus epidemic.
Munmun Dutta was not a part of the Mission Kala Kauva episode shoot in Daman. Now, the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has returned to Mumbai, but as per a Spotboye report, Munmun is yet to return. A source close to the portal said that Munmun hasn’t returned to the sets ever since the ‘Bhangi’ comment got embroiled in controversy.

And there is a strong buzz that she may decide to leave the show soon. However, now the production house has confirmed that Munmun Dutta is not leaving the show. This has been approved by Asit Kumar Modi, the production house of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and owner of Neela Film Productions Pvt Ltd.

Asit Kumar Modi said in a statement to ETimes, “Munmun Dutta continues to be a part of Babita Ji Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Any rumours about her leaving the show are baseless and false.”
