TV serial Naagin 6 actress Mehak Chahal has also become a victim of online fraud. There has been a fraud of 49 thousand rupees with the actress. Mahek Chahal has complained to the police regarding the matter.
What is the whole matter?
With Mahek Chahal, there was a case of online fraud on July 12. According to actress Mahek – ‘I searched the internet extensively on the online courier service to send a parcel to Gurugram. After this, I got in touch with a person through a call, and he told me that he belonged to a popular courier company; I went to his site, where I had to register by paying 10 rupees and then pay for the product from there .’
‘He assured me of this courier. When it came to the transaction, I told him on Google, but it did not happen, and then he forwarded me a link. He said an OTP would come on it, which you will tell within 20 seconds, and your payment will be made. As soon as I did this, the amount of 49000 thousand disappeared from my account.
Mahek Chahal said that she took immediate action as soon as she realized the fraud. The actress got her account, and all the cards were frozen immediately from the bank. Simultaneously, a case was also registered at Bandra Police Station, and an investigation started.
