When ‘Hum Do Humare Do Film’ was announced, it made a lot of headlines. But due to the coronavirus epidemic, no update could be found. According to the latest report, the film will be made to release on the digital platform. This film will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar. Peepingmoon quoted a source as saying, “The audience is not ready to hit the theatres yet. Films like ‘Bell Bottom’, ‘Chehre’ and ‘Thalaivi’ were released in theatres, but could not even meet their expenses.’
The source further added, “The performance of these films has not been encouraging, and it has directly set a record that releasing a film in cinema halls is self-harming until theatres open in Maharashtra. It will take a long time for the situation there to return to normal. Due to all this, the makers are left with no option but to release their finished films on the digital platform. Dinesh Vijan is only following the legal deal as he can’t wait any longer.”
This will be the fifth film with Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’ masterpiece after ‘Raabta’, ‘Arjun Patiala’, ‘Luka Chuppi’ and ‘Mimi’. His latest release ‘Mimi’ did not release in theatres and was premiered on Netflix. Kriti’s performance in the film was highly appreciated.
