RRR, included in the blockbuster films of 2022, showed dominance at the box office. Whatever movie came in front of this film got piled up. RRR got immense love from critics and people. But Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty does not believe so. He has taken a jibe at this film.

Resul Pookutty has described SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster movie as a gay love story. At the same time, the role of Alia Bhatt has also been made fun of. According to him, Alia Bhatt was taken as a prop in the film. A filmmaker tweeted and wrote – Last night saw 30 minutes of garbage named RRR. In response to this tweet, Resul wrote – A gay love story. The second tweet wrote- … and Alia Bhatt is the prop of that film. Resul had so much to say that controversy broke out over his statement. People started trolling him badly on social media.

Bahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda objected to these tweets of Resul. In response to what Resul wrote – I agree. Even if it is a gay love story, there is nothing wrong with it. I only quoted this to my friend; it was a joke already in the public domain, nothing more. There is no hindrance to this: no need to take it seriously, sob. I didn’t mean to insult anyone. Resul and many others had also noticed the bromance of Ramcharan and Jr NTR in Rajamouli’s film. Many even called it gay romance. Where people took all these comments in good spirit. But there has been an uproar on Resul’s comment. How Rajamouli and the film’s lead stars react to this must be seen.
