Sonu Sood Honored by Forbes, Honored as ‘COVID-19 Hero’


Sonu Sood Forbes: The humanitarian work of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is giving him love and respect from all sides. The actor, who helped the poor and the needy during the Coronavirus lockdown last year, received many honours, including the recent Forbes India Leadership Award 2021. He shared a glimpse of it on his social media account.

The actor shared the photo of the award which was written with his name – Kovid-19 Hero. Sonu is very happy to receive this honor and writes in the caption with the photo- ‘humble humble’.

In addition to receiving the award, the actor talked about work progress for migrant workers and the needy. According to the Forbes India Facebook page, Sonu spoke on ‘migrant employment’ and ‘claimed to connect with about 100 million people over the next five years. He said that ‘migrant workers will have a digital identity that will track their working hours. And health care benefits and improve their living standards.


In addition to this, he also talked about the move from development to the re-development of survival. According to him, “From day one, we could see that they were helpless. They had no money, no means to go back home and did not know what to do now. All we had to do was come out of our control zone and help them. ”

Sonu Sood has received many accolades earlier also

Sonu Sood has been honored many times in the past for helping the needy. The actor, who has been called a hero by his fans on social media, was earlier awarded the prestigious ‘SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award’ by the Planning Department of the Government of Punjab.

Sonu Sood took the award in a virtual ceremony. He helped migrants stranded in the epidemic and arranged food, buses, trains. And chartered flights and provided them with employment opportunities for better livelihoods.

On the same film front, Sonu Sood will next be seen in the film ‘Prithviraj’, based on 12th-century King Prithviraj Chauhan’s life. He is also shooting Telugu films like ‘Acharya’ and ‘Alludu Adhurs’.
