Thalapathy Vijay Controversy
According to media reports, Vijay has filed a case against 11 people. His father and director SK Chandrasekhar had recently started a political party. The name of this party is ‘All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’.
In the documents submitted to the Election Commission, the name of the actor’s father is recorded as the General Secretary in the electoral party. Whereas, his mother Shobha Chandrashekhar, is its treasurer. The matter will be heard on September 27.
Vijay filed a case for this reason.
Some time ago, Vijay’s father, SA Chandrashekhar, claimed that Vijay should enter politics and for this, he also took the step of registering the party in the name of Vijay. But now, Vijay issued a statement saying that he did not consent to start any such party.
In this case, he has now filed a lawsuit against 11 people to stop them from using their names to organise meetings or gather crowds. Let us tell you that the actor started his film career in 1992 as a child artist. His first film was ‘Nalaya Theerpu’.
