Deep Sidhu Accident Case: Late-night of 15 February, Punjabi industry star Deep Siddhu met with an accident and could not escape from fatal injuries. After his death, his brother Surjeet had lodged an FIR against the truck driver, whose vehicle collided with Deep’s car.
The complaint was registered under sections 279 (rash driving) and 304A (negligent cause of death) of the IPC. There are reports that the police have arrested the absconding driver from Delhi Bypass. Also, the accused driver will be presented in court soon.
Deep Sidhu Accident Case, Driver Arrested
According to the information received, the accused driver has been identified as Kasim Khan, a resident of Singar village. The driver was reportedly carrying coal from Ahmedabad to Muzaffarnagar at the accident. Kharkhoda SHO Jaspal Singh said that the accused has admitted that the accident happened during interrogation due to his negligence. The accused has reportedly mentioned that the truck was moving ahead and negligently applied the brakes, following which Deep’s car rammed into the rear of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, 37-year-old actor Deep Sidhu was cremated at Thrike village in Ludhiana. Many people came to pay tribute to him during the late actor’s funeral.
