Aligarh’s police station went to the Ganga Ghat in Anupshahar for the shaving ceremony of a child from village Jalalpur in the Pisawa area. The family members had gone to Ganga Ghat in the Anupshahr area of Bulandshahr to perform the shaving ceremony of the one-year-old son of Munendra, the son of Master Prakash Chand, a resident of Jalalpur village of Pisawa police station area. During the Ganga bath, Manendra’s sister Neeraj Devi, wife Ajit Singh and her son Hrithik, resident of Mitouli police station Naujheel Mathura, suddenly started drowning. Ravi’s son Harpal Singh, cousin of Munendra’s wife-in-law Kalpana Munendra, also jumped into the water to save him when he raised the alarm. These three also drowned in the river, on which the people present on the side of the ghat started making noise.
