Uddhav Thackeray Eknath Shinde: The troubles of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray are not taking the name of lessening. Uddhav Thackeray has been trying to save the party since he lost power in Maharashtra, but he seems to be failing. Senior party leader and deputy leader of Shiv Sena in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Arjun Khotkar met Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Delhi.
Speculations after meeting
Arjun Khotkar is considered to have a good influence in the Jalna district. Union minister and BJP leader Raosaheb Danve were also present during Khotkar’s meeting with Eknath Shinde. After this meeting, there are speculations that Arjun Khotkar may soon leave Uddhav Thackeray and join Eknath Shinde’s camp.
The discussion of this meeting is also in full swing because Arjun Khotkar had said two days ago that I would be in Shiv Sena for the rest of my life. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray had also handed over the responsibility of deputy leader to Khotkar. But Khotkar reached Delhi on Monday and met the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
It is believed that Eknath Shinde has made a pact between Arjun Khotkar and Raosaheb Danve. Both the leaders are residents of Jalna, and in 2019, a significant dispute broke out between them. At that time, Uddhav Thackeray had resolved the conflict by mediating between the two leaders. But now, after the rebellion of Shiv Sena MLAs and MPs under the leadership of Eknath Shinde, the question is who will support Arjun Khotkar.
The question arises in front of Khotkar: if he supports Shinde, what will happen to his fight against Raosaheb Danve. It is being said that Shinde has succeeded in bringing both the leaders together. But let us tell you that Khotkar has been the target of the Enforcement Directorate for some time now. In such a situation, to avoid investigation, he can decide to leave Uddhav Thackeray and go to the Shinde faction.
Although no official statement has been given by Arjun Khotkar himself so far, meeting the CM in Delhi indicates that he is thinking of something big.
