Opposing user charges, trade licenses and burning

On Thursday evening, Muzaffarpur city business people gathered on the North Bihar Council of Commerce and Industry premises. They protested by lighting candles against trade licenses, user tax and burning. An appeal was made to the business people to keep the shop closed today.

However, till noon, no significant effect of the shutdown was visible. Only a few shops were closed. At the same time, all the important markets were open.
