The police arrested a Delhi tourist for driving an SUV recklessly on Goa’s famous Anjuna Beach. A video of this tourist driving an SUV on the beach surfaced on social media. After which, a case was registered against him, and now he has been arrested.
The man driving the Hyundai Creta SUV carelessly at Anjuna Beach has been identified as Lalit Kumar Dayal. He is a resident of the Mangolpuri area of Delhi. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jeevba Dalvi told the news agency that the tourist (Lalit) was driving recklessly on Anjuna beach.

He said that the vehicle (Hyundai Creta) is registered in the name of a woman from Goa. The car was confiscated on June 16 after the video surfaced. After this, a report was filed against the vehicle owner at Mapusa police station.

It can be seen in the video how the SUV is being stunted on the beach. The car is being driven very carelessly, due to which it later got stuck in the sand. Some people are seen taking him out of the water.
