The Cobra Plant or Whipcord Cobra Lily is blooming in high-altitude mountainous areas. It looks like the hood of a snake. Its leaves are like a transparent tube, and the upper part is bloated like a balloon. A little below this balloon-like part, there is a genuine part, from which a leaf comes out like a snake’s tongue.

In traditional medicine, its roots and stems are used as medicinal plants. It is used as a medicine to remove stomach worms in cattle. Its juice is applied to the wounds of cattle to kill any parasites. The dried powder of its branch is applied to snake bites. The seeds are mixed with salt and used to treat colic in sheep.
