Faridabad Railway Station Redevelopment
Under the ambitious redevelopment plan of railway stations, the Faridabad railway station will be made a world-class station. An amount of Rs 262 crore has been approved for this project. Iconic buildings will be built on both sides of the station on the lines of modern engineering at Faridabad station.
The station will have separate arrival and departure facilities like the airport. Apart from this, there will be multi-level car parking on both sides of the station for the convenience of the passengers.
At the same time, 72 meters wide furnished space will be on either side of the station. Apart from this, a waiting hall equipped with special facilities will be prepared for the passengers. At the same time, food court facilities are now available in significant country stations, including New Delhi. On the same lines, food courts and state-of-the-art stalls will be prepared on every platform here.
On the station premises, passengers faced no problems going from one platform to another. In this regard, 2-foot over bridges about 12 meters wide will also be built. So that people can come out. At the same time, keeping in mind the environment, it will also be converted into a green station. In this, the old building of the station will be renovated and converted into a smart and green building.
