Tata Steel Plant Jamshedpur Fire: A sudden fire broke out after a blast at the Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur. The part where the fire broke out was not working at the moment. It is being told that the fire started around 10:20 am, and after hours of effort, the fire has been brought under control. As of now, the cause of the fire is not known.
After the information about the fire at Tata Steel Plant, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given the necessary instructions. He tweeted that there was news of a blast at Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur. In coordination with the Tata Steel management, the district administration is taking action for the speedy treatment of the injured.
According to the information, after a loud blast in the coke division of the Jamshedpur plant of Tata Steel, the plant caught fire. After the news of the explosion and fire, there was chaos in the plant. It is being told that there was an explosion in the cross over of batteries number 5, 6 and 7 of the coke plant. There was also a gas leak, after which there was chaos in the entire area. During this, an employee was also injured whose leg has suffered severe injuries and taken to Tata Main Hospital.
The blast was so strong that a stampede broke out in RMM, Sinter Plant One and Two. All the employees were evacuated in an emergency from where they were taken to a safe place. On the other hand, the fire brigade was called to control the fire. It is being told that the fire was brought under control after hours of effort.
On the other hand, a high-level inquiry has been started into the incident. The employees have been thrown out of the plant, and efforts are to stop the gas leak, thereby vacating the surrounding area. The effect of the fault in batteries number 5, 6, and 7 of the plant has also been shown in batteries number 8 and 9. At present, the exercise to restart the plant has been intensified.

Today a foul gas line exploded in Battery 6 of the coke plant at Jamshedpur Works. Currently, Battery 6 is not working, and removing it is in progress. After the explosion and fire, ambulances and fire engines immediately rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. The situation has been brought under control.
Two employees suffered minor injuries and have been sent to TMH for treatment. Another employee who complained of chest pain was also sent to TMH for investigation. His condition is stable.
