Sajid, a resident of the Lisadi Gate police station area of Meerut, had gone to Ittefaq Nagar of Brahmapuri police station area for some work on Sunday, 24 April. Three people who came from behind grabbed Sajid and started stabbing him with a knife. According to the information, those who attacked him were his relatives. These people live in the same house.
Meerut SP City Vineet Bhatnagar said,
“A person named Sajid has died. In the CCTV footage, three men are seen beating him. All three people are said to be the relatives of the deceased. It is learned that they live in the same house. There was a dispute between them regarding some matter. When this incident happened, the police got information soon after. On reaching the spot, Sajid died while being taken to the hospital”.
The nephew was murdered due to a property dispute.
It is being told that Sajid was having a dispute with his uncles regarding the property, and the three uncles of Sajid who attacked with the knife were Shahzad, Naushad, and Javed. According to the police, there is talk of a dispute between them regarding the distribution of a plot.
