The police have made an extensive disclosure in the blast case in the building of Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali, Punjab. The mastermind of this attack is Lakhbir Singh Landa, who went to Canada in 2017. Apart from this, the police arrested six people in this case. The DGP of Punjab has given this information.
Main accused of blast in Canada
The DGP said that Lakhvir Singh Landa, the main accused in the Mohali blast, is a resident of Tarn Taran who is close to Harvinder Singh Rinda. He is in Canada now. He left the country in 2017. This attack was carried out with the help of Pakistan’s ISI. Chadhat Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran, and two others carried out the incident. Apart from this, Nishan Singh also has a role in it. This is what had sheltered both the people and provided RPG.
Police eyes on two people
Baljinder Singh gave an AK 47 to Chadhat Singh. Along with this, Baljeet Kaur, a woman, also has a role in this attack. Police have arrested six accused in this case: Kanwar Bath, Baljit Kaur, Baljit Rambo, Ananddeep Sonu, Jagdeep Kang, and Nishant Singh. Apart from this, two other people have not been arrested so far. They are residents of Bihar, whose names are Mohammad Naseem Alam and Sarfaraz; they are also under the watch of the police.
The blast took place on the evening of 6 May.
There was a blast in the building of Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali on the evening of May 6. Punjab Police is on high alert after this blast. Heavy police deployment was made around the building where the blast took place. All the roads leading to the Intelligence Bureau were sealed. The Punjab Police did not confirm it as a terrorist incident.
The windows of the building were broken in the incident.
Let us tell you that there was an explosion on the third floor of the Intelligence Bureau office in Sohana, Mohali, due to which the windows of the entire building were shattered. It is being told that the Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) was fired from the ground at around 7:45 pm. However, no one was injured in the explosion. No one got hurt. Only the window panes of the building are broken.
