Poha Kachori: Make This Delicious Poha Kachori For Kids In Breakfast


Poha is a good option for breakfast. This is a trendy and nutritious breakfast. You can make many types of dishes using poha. It is very light to eat. You can also make kachori using poha. This is a delicious dish. You can make it easier. You can make Poha Kachori for breakfast in the morning. You can enjoy these kachoris with your family in evening snacks also. Kids will like this dish very much. This dish is made using potatoes and poha. Let’s learn how to make it.

Ingredients for Making Poha Kachori

  • Poha – 1½ bowl
  • Boiled three potatoes
  • Three green chillies finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp amchur powder
  • Two pinch asafoetida
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp celery
  • One finely chopped onion
  • Oil for cooking kachori
  • Salt to taste

Make Kachori With This Method

Step 1: Soak the poha in water for 10-15 minutes. Now take out its moisture and keep it aside.

Step 2: Peel the boiled potatoes and mash them. Add green chilli, coriander leaves, asafoetida, dry mango powder, red chilli, onion and salt as per taste and mix well.


Step 3: Add a little salt to the soaked poha and knead it well. Mix it so well that it looks like a dough. Cover it and keep it aside for some time.

Step 4: After 10 minutes, make small balls of this dough. Fill the potato mixture in it. Seal the stuffed balls well and give them the shape of kachori. Check that the stuffed balls are not cut from anywhere else. It will get filled with oil.

Step 5: Now heat oil in a pan. Put stuffed kachoris in it and fry them on low flame. When the kachori turns golden from both sides, take it out on tissue paper.


Step 6: Your Poha Kachori will be made like this; now serve them with green chutney.
