Ingredients for making Moong Dal Chaat-
Servings 4
- Moong dal 4 cups
- Ginger paste 2 tsp
- Two tablespoons of virgin olive oil
- Salt 4 pinches grounded
- Garlic paste 2 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tsp
To decorate:
- Sev 4 tbsp
- Green coriander one bunch
For the main dish:
- Onion 2
- Tomato 2
- Carrot 1
- Capsicum 2 (Green chilli)
- Green mango 1/2 cup
Recipe to make Moong Dal Chaat-
First, wash the onion, tomato, capsicum and green mango to make this.
Then you cut them all into small pieces.
Along with this, peel the carrot, grate it, and keep it aside.
Then you put moong dal and enough water in a pressure cooker.
After this, cook it for at least 2 to 3 whistles and take it out in a bowl.
Then you put some oil in a pan and heat it medium heat.
After this, add cooked moong dal, salt, ginger and garlic paste.
Then you fry this mixture for about a minute.
After this, add onion, tomato, raw mango and carrot to it and fry for a minute.
Then when this mixture is cooked well, you turn off the gas.
After this, add lemon juice to it and mix well.
Then finally, you put this chaat in a serving dish.
Now your healthy and tasty Moong Dal Chaat is ready.
Then serve it garnished with sev and coriander leaves.
