To avoid dehydration and maintain the pH level, you can consume various foods with a good amount of electrolytes.


Lemon barley water

Soak two tablespoons of barley in water overnight for 8 hours to make this. Boil it on low flame for 15 to 20 minutes. Add lemon juice, mint leaves, rock salt and roasted cumin powder. Consume it in summer. Lemon barley water keeps you hydrated and helps in flushing out toxins from the body.

Rose milk

In a bowl, mix 1 cup water, 1 cup milk, 4-5 red rose petals, one teaspoon sabja and two ground green cardamom. Keep it in the fridge overnight. Consume it in the morning after exercise and workout.

Raw banana

Raw banana increases your energy level. Peel the raw banana and cut it into thin slices. Fry it in coconut or sesame oil. Season it with chaat masala or green chilli and consume it.


Gourd raita

Eat bottle gourd with food in the afternoon. To make this, peel the bottle gourd and grate it coarsely. After that, cook it in steam. After cooking, mix it with homemade curd. Add rock salt, black pepper and roasted cumin powder to this mixture.

Vegetable Broth

Consume vegetable broth before dinner. It is rich in protein. It keeps the digestive system healthy. To make this broth, chop finely chopped vegetables like French beans, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, green onion stalks, mushrooms and spinach and boil them in water. Add lemon, black pepper powder and coriander leaves. Consume it hot before eating.
