Paneer Cutlet Recipe: Make Delicious and Crispy Paneer Cutlets


Paneer Cutlet Recipe: Cutlet is a trendy dish. They are made in many ways. You can also make paneer cutlets. It is pretty easy to make it at home. Many ingredients like green chillies, peas, paneer and potatoes are included in it. It can be consumed as an evening snack or appetizer on occasions like kitty parties or birthdays. You can eat it in many ways, either by placing it in the middle of a sandwich or with tomato ketchup or any other chutney. Let’s find out how you can make it at home.

Ingredients of Cheese Cutlet

  1. Paneer – 1 1/2 cups
  2. Peas – 1 cup
  3. Salt as required
  4. Vegetable oil – 3 tsp
  5. Potato – 1 1/2 cups
  6. Green chilli – 2
  7. Sugar as required
  8. For garnishing – as needed, Chaat masala

Paneer Cutlet Recipe

Step – 1

Cook the peas in a pressure cooker on a medium flame for two whistles. Wash the potatoes in water and remove the skin. Cut them and put them in a blender jar along with paneer and peas. Blend on high speed for a few seconds. Once a thick paste is formed, take it out in a separate bowl and keep it aside.


Step – 2

Place a pan on medium flame, and once the pan becomes hot enough, dry roast the cumin seeds on medium flame. Now, grind these seeds using a mortar and pestle and mix finely chopped green chillies, sugar and salt with the prepared paste.

Step – 3


Make small oval cutlets from the prepared batter. Now put a wok on medium heat and add oil to it. When the oil becomes hot enough, add these cutlets one by one and fry them till they become golden brown.

Step – 4

After frying, take them out on a large serving plate and dry them using paper to absorb excess oil. Serve these to your guests with some dips.
