Raksha Bandhan 2021 Sweet: The festival of Rakshabandhan is a symbol of the love between brother and sister. On this day, everyone in the house celebrates. On this particular day, many people worry about their calories and enjoy different types of dishes. However, weight loss and fitness freaks do not eat these things wholeheartedly as they are high in sugar and calories.

If you avoid eating sweet things on the day of the festival due to weight gain or any other reason, we are telling you some healthy and tasty recipes that you can easily make at home.

1. Choco Lava Cake

Stuff

  1. 2 tbsp almond flour
  2. 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  3. 1/4 baking soda
  4. Two large eggs
  5. 2 tbsp sweetener
  6. 2 tbsp
  7. Nutrilite butter 2 tbsp almond milk
  8. 100 g dark chocolate (55% cocoa)

Recipe

1. Mix coconut flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener and baking powder in a bowl.

2. Add two large eggs, melted butter and almond milk to the dry ingredients and mix them well.

3. Pour the cake batter into a greased mould.

4. Bake it in the microwave for about 2 minutes. However, take the time frame depending on the model of the microwave.

Use almond flour instead of flour to give a healthy twist to your cake. It is better for your digestion. It contains antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, magnesium, calcium. Unsweetened dark cocoa contains antioxidants that are beneficial for the heart. You can use low-fat almond milk, which keeps calories under control and is helpful for the soul.

2. Makhana Ladoo

Ingredients

  1. 50 grams Makhana (heat in microwave till crisp and crunchy)
  2. 15 roasted almonds
  3. 15 Roasted Cashews
  4. 1/2 cup grated coconut (roasted till light brown)
  5. 1/2 cup jaggery
  6. Ten ground cardamom

How to make

1. Prepare a paste by mixing almonds, cashew nuts, makhana with cardamom. Now add coconut powder and put it in a bowl.

2. Keep some makhana and roasted almonds aside and cut them into medium pieces.

3. Mix jaggery with makhana and almond paste.

4. Make small laddus by adding one spoon of ghee to the powder.

Benefit

Jaggery has been used in place of natural sweetener in this sweet. Jaggery helps in increasing the glucose level and also improves digestion. It contains calcium, iron, potassium and phosphorus. This helps in increasing your immunity.
