Ingredients of Baked Shakarpara
- Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 4 tbsp
- Salt – 2 pinch
- Ghee – 2 tsp
- Milk – 5 tbsp
Step – 1 Make the flour mixture
Firstly, place a deep-bottomed non-stick pan on medium flame and add ghee along with sugar and milk to it. Mix them well and cook for a few minutes till the sugar dissolves in the mixture. Keep stirring the mixture in between. Once done, keep the mixture aside to cool down so that it can be used for dough.
Step – 2 Knead the dough.
Please take a deep bowl and sieve wheat flour in it. Put a little ghee-milk mixture in a bowl and mix well. Knead the dough by adding it gradually till the mixture becomes hard.
Step – 3 Cut the dough into small pieces.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and then cut them into similar pieces of many different shapes. Poke holes in shaped pieces with a fork.
Step – 4 Baking Time
Now pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. Take a baking tray and grease it with ghee. Put the pieces in a tray and bake in the oven.
Step – 5 Baked Shakkarpara is ready
Once done, let the pieces cool down. Serve it immediately or store it in a box and enjoy.
