The news of 40 BMW cars getting burnt in the fire in Mumbai has come to the fore. The fire broke out in the Turbhe area of Navi Mumbai. The fire, which started at 5.30 am in Turbhe’s MIDC, was brought under control at 1 pm. Meanwhile, 40 to 45 BMW cars parked in the parking lot have been gutted. But on Wednesday, fire brigade officer RB Patil informed that there was no news of any injury in this fire incident.
40 BMW Cars Charred In Navi Mumbai Godown Fire
As soon as the fire broke out in the showroom of BMW cars, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. But the fire was so fierce that it took six-seven hours to bring it under control. With the help of about ten fire engines, the fire could somehow be brought under control. But in the meantime, the expensive BMW cars parked there were severely burnt.
Where the showroom was the warehouse, so there was so much damage.
Fire brigade officer RB Patil said that the fire started on Tuesday morning, but the cause of the fire is not yet known. At present, the police are investigating the matter. The spot where the fire broke out in the MIDC complex had a car showroom and a workshop, and a godown. This is the reason why so many cars were present together. There has been a loss of crores due to so many expensive cars’ burning together.
After getting information about the fire, much damage had been done by the time the fire brigade team and the police team reached the spot. It took 6 to 7 hours to extinguish the fire; from this, it was estimated how fierce the fire must have been.
BMW was serviced in this showroom and workshop, but cars like Lamborghini, Porsche, and Rolls Royce were also serviced. Many small cars also used to be serviced here. The car dealer has also clarified that the vehicles have been badly burnt, but the matter of relief is that there was no incident of any injury or casualty.
