Significant changes have been made in the Air Force. Two days ago, it was announced to make Air Marshal VR Chaudhury the Chief of Air Staff. Now the name of the new Deputy Chief of Air Force has also been reported. Air Marshal Sandeep Singh has been appointed as the next Deputy Chief of the Indian Air Force. Air Marshal VR Choudhary will take over as the Chief of the Air Staff on September 30.
On the other hand, Air Marshal Balabhadra Radha Krishna has been appointed as the new Chief of Integrated Defense Staff to the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee. Air Marshal Amit Dev has been appointed as the next Chief of the Western Air Command. He is currently the Chief of Eastern Air Command.
Air Marshal Sandeep Singh Career
Air Marshal Sandeep Singh was inducted into the Indian Air Force on December 22 1983, as a fighter aircraft pilot. He has more than 4,150 hours of flying experience. Also, they are qualified to fly on Su-30 MkI, MiG-29 and MiG-21 aircraft. Marshal Sandeep Singh is a qualified flight instructor in the A2 class and an exceptional test pilot. He has been a flight commander of the MiG-21 squadron and an instructor at the Air Force Test Pilot School.
VR Chaudhary will be the next Air Force Chief.
Earlier on September 21, the Central Government had decided to make Air Marshal VR Chaudhary the next Air Force Chief of the country. Choudhary is currently the Deputy Chief of Air Staff. The current Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria is retiring on September 30. After which, Chaudhary will take over this post. Air Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary took over as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff on July 1.
