Indian Railway Has Arrested 21 Alleged Nuisances For Damaging Railway Property In anti-CAA Demonstrations In West Bengal, Assam, and Bihar. They Will Recover Losses.
Railways lost property worth Rs 87.99 crore in West Bengal, Bihar. And Assam during protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The railway has arrested 21 people in this case. RPF has registered 54 cases in this case and Government Railway Police has registered 27 cases. A case of damage to railway property and arson has been registered on them. A senior RPF official said that the culprits will compensate for this loss.
