Modi cabinet has been expanded. Seven new ministers have been made in Uttar Pradesh, given the assembly elections to be held next year. Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (S) has also become a minister, but Nishad Party did not get anything. The Nishad Party is very angry with this.
Why Praveen Nishad not in the List
Sanjay Nishad, the founder of Nishad Party (Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal), expressed his disappointment over not inducting his son and MP Praveen Nishad in the Union Cabinet. He asked that if Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) can be included in the Union Council of Ministers, why not Praveen Nishad?
Sanjay Nishad said, ‘If Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) can get a place in the Council of Ministers, why not MP Praveen Nishad? The people of the Nishad community are already leaving the BJP, and if the party does not rectify its mistakes, then there will be consequences in the upcoming assembly elections.
Nishad Party Chief Sanjay Nishad said, ‘It is his turn to take this decision, although I have full faith in him that he will take care of Praveen Nishad.’ Sanjay Nishad’s son Praveen is an MP from Sant Kabir Nagar. Praveen Nishad had won the Gorakhpur by-election in 2017 as an SP candidate.
The Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat fell vacant after BJP MP Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Talking to reporters in Ballia a few days ago, Sanjay Nishad had said, ‘Our alliance with BJP will continue. We were with the BJP, are with the BJP even today, and will remain with it.
