Late Dr Amit Singh Damia’s wife Manmeet Alang met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence today. During this self, Dr Amit Singh’s wife was accompanied by his mother and child. Kejriwal expressed deep grief over the demise of Late Dr Amit Singh and, while consoling the family, said that he did continuous duty during Corona and served Corona patients with complete dedication. I met his family today and handed over a check of Rs 10 lakh to the family as financial help. This is a small gesture of support from our side.
There, Dr Amit Singh Dayma’s wife, Manmeet Alang, thanked CM Arvind Kejriwal for giving financial help and said that the Delhi government stood by my bad times. I am very grateful to CM Kejriwal for this.
Late Dr Amit Singh Damia was posted as Senior Resident on a contract basis in the Department of Anesthesia of Swami Vivekananda Hospital. He was on Corona duty, and while on duty, he had a cardiac arrest attack on 13 May 2021.
He was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Haryana, where he died. He was doing duty continuously during the Corona period and served the Corona patients with complete dedication. He was the only earner in the family. He is survived by his wife, mother and one child. The family lives in a rented house.
