Aryan Khan Bail Hearing Today at 12.30

After the production of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, in the Esplanade Magistrate Court, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) took it to its Mumbai office as new prisoners cannot be taken in the jail at this time. The court has also asked NCB to file a reply. The court further said that the matter would be heard by the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Court.

No entry in jail without COVID report

Even after Achit’s arrest, both Aryan and Arbaaz were in the custody of NCB. Even then, nothing was investigated till the time he appeared in court. The lawyers representing the accused believe that the presence of the accused in the custody of NCB is not necessary as the situation remains the same.

Hence all the eight accused are sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Let us tell you that by the time this decision came, it was seven o’clock in the evening. It was not possible to send the accused to jail after six o’clock without a COVID vid report. Therefore, on Thursday night, the judge ordered all the accused to be kept in judicial custody in the NCB lock-up.

Cordelia cruise ship was going to Goa on the night of October 2

So far, 18 arrests have been made in the case. A total of 17 people are being produced before the court. The 18th hearing is yet to take place in the Mumbai court. Achit Kumar has been sent to NCB custody till October 9. Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Seth Merchant revealed the name. On October 2, the NCB team busted an alleged drug party on the Cordelia cruise ship going to Goa.

Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Vikrant Choker, Izmit Singh, Nupur Sarika, Gomit Chopra and Mohk Jaswal were produced in Mumbai’s Esplanade Court on Monday from where all were remanded to NCB custody till October 7. He was arrested on October 3.

Aadhaar unclear in the remand application

On Thursday evening, Mumbai’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar turned down the NCB’s remand plea, saying it has got enough time to investigate the matter. Now there is no need for interrogation by keeping him in custody.

Therefore all the accused are being sent to judicial custody. According to the judge, the grounds in all the remand applications are unclear. He said that NCB custody had been sought for the accused. She wants to confront Achit Kumar, who was arrested on October 6 based on the statements of Arbaaz Merchant and Aryan Khan, with all the other accused.
